So you’ve read my book, Hypnotic Journaling, but you’re not sure whether you’re on the right track?
Maybe your five day writing journey has raised more questions than answers? (This is usually a very strong indication that your writing has thrown up something significant and important for you.)
Maybe you’re just not quite sure how to get started and you need a little support and encouragement?
If so, my Hypnotic Journaling Personal Mentoring Programme might be just what you need to help you to move forwards.
This is how it works.
We will work together for a minimum of three sessions. I say three sessions because I believe that this is the minimum required to give us the opportunity to do some meaningful work. You can space those three sessions weekly, every couple of weeks or monthly -Â whatever works best for you - but three sessions is the minimum number of sessions that we need to work together to achieve meaningful change.
Buy your personal programme of three Hypnotic Journaling mentoring sessions now and I’ll throw in a copy of the Hypnotic Journaling eBook for free!
That way, you can get started by reading the book and working through the five-day programme, knowing that you’ll have my support and guidance on-hand as you do.
If you’ve already enjoyed Hypnotic Journaling and now want some feedback on specific issues or if you simply want to explore writing and journaling techniques in greater depth without making the commitment to a more time-specific structured online programme of study, then these Personal Mentoring sessions will take you wherever you’d like to go next.
Buy your Personal Mentoring sessions and receive your FREE Hypnotic Journaling eBook!

![]() When I write, I love that trance-like state I find myself in. When I write about hypnosis, well, the state just seems to deepen… How wonderful to encounter a way of using that state while writing and stepping into that wonderful world with conscious awareness! Sophie Nicholls shows you how to do that here, and I love how she does it. Read this refreshing ebook, follow the words and try to stay out of those deep trances long enough to know how to journal usefully when you do go there. Brilliant!

Isn’t this the page that I’m supposed to write in the third-person… about myself…pretending that it isn’t really me writing these words but my agent/PR person/copy-writer/etc?
Well, I’m not going to do that here.
Because I am a writer. And because I am passionate about the process of writing. I believe that everyone has something important to say and that getting your feelings into words on the page is always an adventure in self-discovery.
So as I write this, perhaps I’ll also find out something new about me. In fact, I’m certain I will.
There’s the obvious stuff. For example, I’m Sophie Nicholls. I’m an author, poet, hypnotherapist and researcher in the field of creative writing and personal development.
But then there’s the less obvious stuff. Such as how these activities, experiences and findings have all come together here in the words that you’re now reading about Hypnotic Journaling.
You know, even now, I still get excited at the ways in which my different activities and interests - writing, hypnosis, mindfulness, the work I do as a therapist, the seminars and courses that I design and run - continue to come together in new and surprising ways.
I have taught my Hypnotic Journaling techniques to people in business who feel stressed out, unhappy or that they have lost touch with a vital part of themselves; people who have suffered pain and trauma, including survivors of imprisonment and political torture; people living with long-term illness and their relatives; university students; and, of course, my private clients.
I am still researching these ideas, drawing upon concepts from cognitive science, psychodynamic theory, consciousness studies and my own practical studies to find the best methods for helping people to achieve lasting change.
And I use these techniques every day in my own life. Yes, I really do.
And there it is. That’s the new thing about me that I’ve just discovered in the process of writing this web page. I really do need to write every day. I am 100% convinced by my own copy.
To be absolutely honest, I don’t have to swim or go to the gym everyday, although I know that it’s good for me. But I have to write. It’s that important.
Hypnotic Journaling is not a gimmick or a vague idea but an absolute conviction that I hold - based on daily experience. Writing can change your life. It can help you to be happier, more focused, more comfortable with yourself, to let-go of the past, to envision a new future, to play with ideas and possibilities, to become more aware of what you’re thinking and feeling and the words you usually use about yourself.
So welcome to this site. Have a look at the different ways that you can begin to learn and use Hypnotic Journaling today. And if you have any questions, please do email me at sophie@sophinicholls.com or call me on +44 781 260 6350.
I look forward to hearing from you.
